We Have a Passion for Land Management
Our passion for land management starts with our love of the outdoors and admiration of the beauty of native plants in our area and the native wildlife that native plants support.
Native Americans maintained land for hunting, gathering food, and agriculture, and we can be no different if we want the land to be healthy.
Our passion lies in many different project scopes, such as transforming a corner of your yard so birds can enjoy it; clearing large areas of honeysuckle and other invasive species; gardening with native plants; or modifying acres of woods so you can hunt or hike easily. Redbud Rewilding utilizes land management techniques using the most current methods of scientists, hunters and public entities today.
Here at Redbud Rewilding, we know the plants of the yards, woods, and other wild places in the Greater Cincinnati area. We will quickly evaluate the plant composition of your property and create and implement a plan to remove, restore and rewild to best meet your needs and goals.
A Word from the Owner
Greetings! I am Mike, the owner and operator of Redbud Rewilding. I started my career as a mechanical engineer, and I decided to change my profession to follow my passion for the native ecology. I have extensive experience with managing land through invasive species removal, native plant installation, and observation of native wildlife in their habitat. I am a certified pesticide applicator, master naturalist in training, and certified wildland firefighter. Turning your property, big or small, into a haven for you and the wildlife around you is possible and we would love to help!
